Susan was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2006 and later in the High Court of Australia.
She worked in two top tier national law firms and Australia’s largest industrial organisation as an industrial relations advocate many years before joining Corney & Lind Lawyers.
Susan still enjoys practicing in workplace relations and also utilising her persuasive advocacy skills in the areas of Family Law and Domestic Violence and appears regularly in the Family Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court and the Magistrates Court.
Susan’s approach in the family law space is collaborative, appreciating it achieves the best possible outcome for parents and children alike.
While she believes better outcomes can be achieved outside the four walls of the court room, as an experienced advocate she vigorously pursues just and equitable outcomes at Court.
Susan has a heart for community issues and has been actively involved in Church missions to Cambodia and Nepal. More locally, she was a longstanding volunteer with Working Wonders at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
