What Susan’s clients have to say about her:
“I first met Susie Donkin of Corney and Lind Lawyers in the middle of what I have labelled the most challenging season of my entire life. As an immigrant, I was clueless about the Australian legal system. The circumstances that eventuated with the dissolution of my marriage came as a rude surprise to me, and I was in an extreme panic. My initial meeting with Susie, however, brought me a glimmer of hope. One of the most admirable characteristics that Susie possesses is her ability to actively listen. She allowed me to speak without any interruption and she addressed each of my concerns from a professional legal perspective.
Susie has been instrumental in achieving the best possible outcomes for me in two of my legal matters that were raised at two separate Magistrate’s Courts. Prior to the court date, Susie spoke to me in detail and informed me of the most likely outcomes for these matters. On the day my matters were meant to be heard in court, Susie came well prepared. It was evident she had exhausted an immense amount of time in research to ensure I received the best possible outcomes. She ensured I walked into court fully educated and aware of what I was to expect to alleviate the possibility of me being caught off guard. Her negotiation skills with the other parties were on point. She is extremely respectful when she interacts with the other parties involved, which in turn is a great reflection on her client.
On a more personal note, Susie stands out as a legal representative that works with the mindset of having her client at the forefront. She has spent extensive amounts of time speaking with me while ensuring that my morals and values were respected. She appreciates the toll legal matters can have on her clients and allows her clients to express their emotions. She has a genuine concern for her clients’ wellbeing.
Susie Donkin embodies the motto of Corney and Lind lawyers to “deliver just and redemptive outcomes” to their clients. I confidently recommend Susie’s services to anyone who is going through their own personal challenging season. You will be in the best hands.”

FAMILY LAW CLIENT
“I highly recommend Corney and Lind.
Susan Donkin is representing me at the moment for family, property and DV matters. I was so nervous on the first court date but as soon as I saw her in action negotiating with the rather rude and unprofessional respondent’s lawyer, all nerves disappeared.
Susan has great communication throughout the process, answers every question and is patient in describing things in laymans terms for me. Extremely competent, professional, understanding and knowledgeable and it shows when she is presenting the case in the courtroom. I saw quite a few lawyers fumble and unprepared that day.
Susan confidently detailed the issues and got the best results for me on the day. I have the utmost confidence in her for the rest of my proceedings.”
