Melissa is an Australian Legal Practitioner. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2020 after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Queensland University of Technology and obtaining a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from College of Law. Melissa is also registered as a legal practitioner in the High Court of Australia.
Prior to commencing her legal career with Corney & Lind Lawyers in 2020, Melissa worked in ministry with her local church. Her ministry and pastoral experience has proven beneficial when assisting our not-for-profit, charity and Church organisations. Her background also includes occupational health & rehabilitation and hospitality.
Melissa currently works full-time as a lawyer with our litigation team, working alongside a team of senior lawyers in practice areas such as:

- Employment law
- Schools & education law
- Not-for-profit & charity law
- Criminal law
- Family Law
Melissa is passionate about helping people navigate their legal issues often across a broad spectrum, and is keen to explore a variety of legal practice areas as she progresses through her career.
When not at work Melissa enjoys being outdoors, brunching with her friends, serving at her local church, and she is a big sports fanatic!
