  • Not-for-profit & charity law
  • Criminal law
  • Civil litigation

Melissa represents both employee and employer clients in workplace matters and disputes. She regularly negotiates successful outcomes for her clients in a timely and cost effective manner, and regularly advocates on their behalf in the Fair Work Commission when required.

Melissa assists her family law clients through divorce, property division, parenting arrangements and domestic violence matters with compassion and professionalism. She understands that family law issues are often intertwined with emotional and relationship dynamics, and she develops tailored strategies for each client depending on their desired outcome. She represents and appears on behalf of her family law clients in the Magistrates Court of Queensland and Federal Circuit Court of Australia.

Melissa also has a passion for criminal law. She helps her clients understand the charges against them, whether minor traffic offences or serious criminal charges, and guides her clients through every step as the progress through the criminal justice system.

When not at work Melissa enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her friends, serving at her local church, and she is a big sports fanatic!
