**POSITION FILLED – Receptionist

Company: Corney & Lind Lawyers Pty Ltd, supporting our Brisbane and Sydney offices, based in either office.

Firm Vision: We seek to provide advice and solutions that deliver just and redemptive outcomes.

Role: Receptionist to our Brisbane and Sydney offices.

We are seeking an energetic receptionist with a positive attitude to manage our front desk and perform other routine administrative tasks.  Reporting to the Office Manager, the front desk receptionist will greet visitors, answer, and redirect incoming calls and respond to inquiry emails in a professional manner. The successful applicant will also exercise client care for those that attend our office in serving them. To succeed in this role, you must have a friendly personality, a positive demeanour and excellent customer service skills. You should be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Criteria:

The candidate must have:

  • Great communication;
  • Excellent customer service skills, welcoming, understanding immediate needs and providing good customer care and service;
  • Professional and friendly demeanour.
  • Willing to work in a team environment
  • High attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Good inter-personal skills and organization ability;
  • Ability to prioritize in accordance with demands; and
  • Computer skills in Microsoft office suite, with an ability to pick up new systems quickly.

Main duties, but not limited to, are:

  • Provide front-of-office support, welcoming and assisting both walk-in and over-the-phone clients, ensuring they feel cared, valued and attended to;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to external and internal stakeholders;
  • Answering all incoming phone calls to the Corney & Lind switchboard;
  • Take responsibility for allocated administrative tasks.

Receptionist experience in an office environment or a legal office is highly desirable, but not essential.

Character: Identifying with ethos and vision of the firm, calm-under-pressure, confident, organized, attention to detail, professional well-groomed and is committed to a high standard of personal integrity.

Remuneration based on experience.

Paralegal

Role: Paralegal

Firm Vision: To provide advice and solutions that deliver just, redemptive outcomes for our clients.

Purpose and responsibilities: To provide Paralegal / Admin Support to our Senior Lawyers:

  • Assist Senior Lawyers with day-to-day operations of files/clients management
  • Manage various databases of information
  • Prepare documentation for court, client meetings and general correspondence
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Criteria:

  • Organisational ability
  • High attention to details regarding data entry
  • Computer skills in Microsoft office suite, word and excel a must
  • Willingness to work in a team; and
  • takes responsibility for allocated tasks
  • Shows initiative in file management

Remuneration: Depends on experience

Commencement Date: Immediate start
