Ashleigh is a Senior Lawyer at Corney & Lind Lawyers. She was admitted as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2016.
She holds a Bachelors of Laws from Griffith University (Queensland) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology.
She began her career at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and as such has a breadth of regulatory expertise, and has experience in large scale litigation.
Ashleigh’s experience revolves around Employment matters for Religious Institutions and Schools, whilst also assisting other organisations and individuals with their employment related needs. Ashleigh’s focus is on providing practical and accurate advice to client’s. She works with them to develop cost-effective solutions and implement strategies that appropriately respond to various workplace relations challenges.
Ashleigh has also assisted school groups, religious institutions and other organisations across many areas, including compliance, corporate governance and other niche areas relevant to these organisations.
Ashleigh was an avid traveler (pre COVID-19), and loved exploring culture rich destinations but for now is focusing on her own “backyard”- Queensland. Outside of work, she loves to bake and balances this with exercising outdoors when she can.
