Many debt recovery agents charge a collection fee calculated as a percentage of the monies recovered by them? We do not charge any ‘success’ fee or take a pre-determined percentage of the monies recovered. This means that, in many instances, our costs are often very competitive with those charged by debt recovery agents.
Also, if the debt recovery agent is not initially successful in recovering the outstanding debt, usually they will have no other choice but to put the matter into the hands of a lawyer anyway (this often means you pay for both the lawyer’s fees and the collection fee in the event of a successful recovery).
